Soros chickens coming home to roost

Alex Soros, son of the infamous Jewish billionaire, George Soros, who has spent a lifetime financing uber left causes, is bemoaning the fact that one of those organizations he supported is turning on Israel.
Of course, this discovery should come as no shock, given the antisemitic direction that was taken by so many in the left-wing, Woke, progressive segment of society, who found a way to take advantage of Israel’s defensive response to the October 7th massacre. For them, it was the golden opportunity to spew their hatred and prejudice upon the Jewish homeland and anyone whose family ancestry is connected to it – even if they live thousands of miles away and have no association to the country.
In this case, Soros, the son, who has taken over the management of his 94-year-old father’s business enterprises, is fuming over a climate group which he funded. He can’t understand why it turned its focus on “Palestine,” (otherwise rightly known as Gaza).
Troubled by this political awakening, it appears that Soros missed the latest trend of lefties - advocating for Gazans, whose terrorist government upended their lives the moment they chose to invade a sovereign country and savagely kill innocent families while they slept in their beds.
Now Alex Soros, who coincidentally happens to share the same ethnic bloodlines with the victims, is incredulous, stating, “We gave them money, and now all they do is talk about Palestine. It’s ridiculous.”
The fact that Soros was taken by surprise attests to an astounding ignorance of what has been going on over the past 18 months, developments which have dramatically changed the world into a far more dangerous place for Jews to navigate, whether on their campuses, at their places of work, while traveling, in political circles or even doing business. Why was he not paying attention?
Today, Jews are seen as a definite liability by leftists, who have decided that they match the Woke profile of white supremacist oppressors, responsible for colonializing Palestinian land. How did a clever guy like Alex Soros not see that coming?
Was he just too preoccupied with taking over the management of his father’s empire – a man who devoted his fortunes to helping elect rogue lawmakers bring anarchy to the streets of America as they allowed criminals to escape the punishment they deserved for the crimes they committed?
It is reported that George Soros funded 75 pro-criminal prosecutors to the tune of $40 million, including the charges brought by Manhattan’s District Attorney, Alvin Bragg against Donald Trump. Bragg was a beneficiary of Soros’ political contributions.
Apparently, Alex didn’t count on many of these same individuals and organizations who previously helped advance the Soros agenda, to later turn rabidly antisemitic. Sadly, Soros is not alone. This irony also took uber liberal Jews by surprise who never contemplated that they would be betrayed by those who once sided with them. Now, even immensely wealthy Jews, like those in Soros’ league are not able to insulate themselves from the onslaught of hate which is being hurled at their people.
In many ways, this sobering lesson has come at a good time – at least for the Soros enterprise, because now that the business affairs of the father have changed hands to his son, he must carefully contemplate how to go forward.
Now that dramatic societal changes have finally captured his attention, causing him to ask what support for Gaza has to do with a company that should be more occupied with the business of climate, he can engage in some needed introspection as to whether or not he is willing to continue financing an endeavor which has dramatically switched gears.
Because while Soros may have been on board with the climate doomsday prophets, whose goal is to make the lives of everyone miserable while warning that every aspect of our lifestyles is responsible for our eventual demise, it’s another thing to support this new direction which has abandoned those concerns in favor of cheering on terrorists.
The Soros group, the largest donor to the Democratic Party, endowed them with a whopping $128.5 million just in 2022 alone. Now, as Alex is playing catchup, just coming around to discover that so many of the causes he supported, have inserted themselves in the politics of Gaza, will he connect the dots, understanding that these same people are all associated with the party which has benefitted so much from his financial help? How will he navigate his way around that major shift?
If he’s really been out of the loop as much as he appears to be, it might also come as a rude awakening to him that the progressive wing of the Democratic Party, known as “The Squad” is leading the pack of antisemitic sentiment. Is he aware that, at present, the frontrunner in the party is a member of that wing? Garnering the greatest support, amongst all of her other party peers, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is eyeing the presidency.
Already on the speaking circuit, in preparation for the 2028 campaign, she is pulling in massive crowds who appear to be mesmerized, hanging on to every word she utters, stirring them up by spouting platitudes of hope and change.
How long will it take before she is asked about her position on Israel? And when that happens, will she faithfully express the same sentiments of Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley and the other Squad members, all of whom are pro-Palestinian zealots, condemning Israel of committing genocide, starving Gazans and deliberately targeting innocent civilians and children?
At that point, Alex Soros will have to make some hard choices. He will either stand, first as a Jew, along with his people and their homeland or he will betray them and continue funding all those who hate them. But if that’s his decision, it will no longer be a little-known fact to him, because the Democratic party is no longer hiding how they feel about Israel nor are they speaking out against the blatant antisemitism which has invaded every aspect of business, academia or politics. Their silence is deafening.
The expression, “The chickens have come home to roost” refers to the evil things someone has done in their past, coming back to haunt them. Perhaps, this best exemplifies what is now happening to the Soros name.
