Massive Israeli airstrikes hit Hezbollah tunnels & weapons in southern Lebanon
IDF continues striking Hezbollah & Hamas in southern Lebanon

The Israeli Air Force carried out a series of intense bombardments near the city of Nabatiyeh in southern Lebanon on Thursday, targeting a “terrorist infrastructure site” which the military said was used by Hezbollah to control its “fire and defense array.”
The wave of strikes was among the most intense bombardments since the start of the ceasefire last November, including between 14 and more than 20 individual strikes, according to Lebanese reports.

Lebanon’s Health Ministry said that one person was killed and eight wounded in the strikes on the Beaufort Ridge, near the city of Nabatiyeh, about 12 kilometers (8 miles) from the border.
“At the site, the IDF struck Hezbollah terrorists, weapons, and tunnel shafts. This infrastructure is part of a significant underground project that, due to IDF strikes, has been rendered inoperable. The existence of this site and the activities conducted there constitute a blatant violation of the understanding between Israel and Lebanon,” the Israeli military stated.
The IDF added it would continue its policy of proactively removing persons or infrastructure it deems threatening to Israeli security and would “prevent any attempt by Hezbollah to reestablish and rebuild itself.”
The Israeli Air Force (IAF) has conducted hundreds of large and smaller strikes in Lebanon since the start of the ceasefire, targeting Hezbollah, but also other terror groups operating in the country.

On Wednesday, a strike near the city of Sidon killed the terrorist Khalid Ahmad Ahmad, who served as the head of operations in Hamas’ Western Brigade in Lebanon, the military said.
Throughout the war, Ahmad had “advanced numerous terror attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF troops,” and recently worked to smuggle weapons meant to be used in terror attacks into Israel.
The day before, the IAF had already struck near Nabatiyeh to eliminate the terrorist Adnan Muhammad Sadiq Harb, the commander of the logistical support unit in Hezbollah's Badr unit, which operates in the northern Litani area in Lebanon.
“In addition, the terrorist operated to transfer weapons in Lebanese territory within different units of the Hezbollah terrorist organization. His terrorist activities constitute a blatant violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon,” the IDF stated.
