May 14, 1948 - Possibly biggest prophetic event in almost 2,000 years

This day is the Western calendar date for Israel’s 77th Independence Day! This is probably the biggest prophetic event till now in the last 1955 years. The prophetic words given according to covenantal promises — to and for the Jewish people to return to the land of covenant promise — took on flesh. The promise is still not full-filled, but the Creator and Redeemer YHVH God is surely fulfilling His word until every jot and tittle is accomplished!  This presently partial return in unbelief and unrighteousness on the part of the people is God’s covenantal loyalty for His holy name’s sake:  He has promises to keep, and He will do so according to His own time-table. This is in anticipation of YHVH’s righteous judgments of His chosen people, and of the nations, preceding the glorious and powerful return of the Lord and Messiah Yeshua/Jesus. 

This historic intervention of the living God of the living on behalf of His people and land and city has stirred up a hornets’ nest of frenzy of all unbelief and defiance against Him and His enduring Word; and this same intervention gives living hope to those who know that it is of Him!  

I have a relative whose proudly homosexual son has completely cut himself off from the heritage of his people and the nation of his people. (But, who knows?  With God all things are possible!)  His ignorance of history does not bother him, as he confidently asserts that “Israel was built on stolen land and the forced displacement of Palestinians….This is imperialism and colonialism in action. Zionism is the greatest cause of Antisemitism in the world.  From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free”. 

Of course, antisemitism has been around for 1000’s of years, long before the modern Zionist movement which has led to the sovereign State of Israel. But, he is correct in that it has caused Antisemitism to openly challenge all previously accepted norms regarding it. As a strong and vibrant Israel prospers in a worldly sense — yet against all odds! — and continually struggles and fights for her survival, the hidden, and not-so-hidden, things of the heart are being brought to light. And God has promised that although He may destroy all nations that seek evil of His people, yet He will not completely destroy the Jewish people or the nation of Israel in this land which He has promised, with an oath, to give to Jacob’s descendants as an inheritance and an everlasting possession.  

This strong, prosperous, unrighteous nation of Israel is a divine goad which is driving both a challenge to faith and hope in God and HIS righteousness and wisdom, and also a surge of open hatred and irrationality which is beyond all human capability to restrain and control. The predators smell blood; and the believers need the patience of Jesus/Yeshua. The climax of the ages is nearing, and all of the evil and unclean spirits are conspiring together against YHVH and against His Anointed. Glory and unbridled joy await on the other side of the suffering and anguish and tears for those who wait with living hope in the Lord, our mighty Savior God!  

Give us the sufficient grace to overcome, our Father in Heaven! In Jesus’ name. For the sake of Your holy Name! Amen!
